ANA BORREGUERO

You could almost say that I was born with a paint brush in my hand. My father painted and this fact should have marked me.

I remember as a child, I was always drawing, creating, thinking. I also took part in painting competitions. Excited...

Then, it was clear that my bachelor's degree had to be Fine Arts, even if it was not funny at home. I was told as a hobby it was fine but it was not for living. However, I was a little cautions and I ended up specializing myself in pictorial restoration, which was what I liked.

Since then, I have lived 20 years thanks to what I was taught and of course thanks to what I have been learning thoughout my life. The art has too many rooms to move around.

I depict the world in all my drawings and paintings. The saily life, unnoticed moments, unimportant matters... People walking down the street, a tram that makes its spot, a phone box about to be opened, a relaxation instant at the pool... Markets, places, people... The colors and shapes stand out, the frames mark the right moment. I want everyone who looks to feel incluyed with the caracters and to live the story they are watching.
